RHS Announces Scholars
Thirteen Students ae Illinois State Scholars

Each of the last two school years RHS had five Illinois State Scholars. This year we have thirteen! They are Jessica Bartlett, Ashley Cantrall, Tiffany Catlano, Mathew Chastain, Meghan Davis, Andrew Lerch, Kyle Lucca, Mackenzie Ralph, Kaylyn Shaw, Anne Showalter, Jared Swanberg, and Bret Thixton. State scholars are determined by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and is based upon ACT and class rank.
We also found out this week that we had four students named
Heritage Scholars at Illinois College. Students were nominated by
Mrs. Penk and had to meet some tough criteria. Those scholars
include Bret Thixton, Anne Showalter, Jessica Bartlett, and Kyle
Lucca. All four will be eligible for a sizeable scholarship if they
choose to attend IC.
