District 14

The mission of Riverton CUSD 14 is to create a nurturing environment where we challenge our students to reach their highest potential.


Riverton Community Unit School District 14 has headquarters in Riverton, Illinois, an urban area located on the east side of Springfield, Illinois. Though headquartered off Old Route 36 in Riverton, it serves all of Riverton, Spaulding, and Irisdale, and some parts of Springfield. The district has one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school, each located within the Riverton city limits. The district is a member of the Sangamo Conference, the Illinois Elementary Association (IESA), the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), and the Illinois Music Education Association (IMEA).
